croftDorcas Croft is a third generation career missionary. Since July 1995 she has served in Southern Africa as an educator at Emmanuel Wesleyan Bible College (EWBC) in Swaziland. Through the teaching and training of future pastors and church leaders, she helps to empower the Southern Africa Church with the Christian education tools they need to grow spiritually and numerically.

Dorcas was born in Jamaica to missionary parents, John and Naomi Croft. Coming from a missionary heritage, mission service was not new to Dorcas. "When I was in college I went on two short-term mission trips. I began to feel God calling during this time. He made His call clear while I was serving a year in Swaziland. Now as an educator in Swaziland, I endeavor to invest myself in the lives of the EWBC students by building them up through love and encouragement.

Dorcas spent a year (1991-92) working at EWBC. Following her year of service, she returned to the United States and began work on an M.A. degree at Asbury Theological Seminary, which she completed in December 1994.

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name" (John 15:16 NIV).
