Robin Crowell attended Trevecca Nazarene University where she studied to be a physician assistant. She completed her final clinical rotation at the Zimba Mission Hospital in Zambia, Africa. This experience changed her life. While in Zambia, Robin said that she felt God’s presence on a daily basis. Her time at the hospital passed too quickly for her. She said, “I was in tears the day we left Zimba. I left my heart there. I need to return. God was stirring something amazing in my heart that I had never considered before—becoming a full-time missionary.” After adjusting to life back in the States, Robin’s longing to return to Zimba did not diminish.

As a result of God’s call on Robin’s life, Global Partners has appointed her to long-term missionary service in Zambia where she will return to the Zimba Mission Hospital. It is her desire that the people of Zimba would have a greater appreciation for their health. She would love to see the people that deal with chronic illnesses, like high blood pressure, diabetes, and HIV, take control of their diseases. She prays that God would help her teach these wonderful people about their health and how to take good care of the bodies that God entrusted to them.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21 NIV).
